IR35 is not going away. What does your business need to do? Approach the problem from a different angle to reduce potentially harmful impacts of the IR35 piece of legislation.
In the new paper by Avenga, we analyse the most pressing matters that businesses in the UK are facing at the moment.
Most of the advice regarding IR 35 has been offered from the legislative and enforcement perspective, but the question of how to actually deal with the upcoming issues, without harming actual business operation remains.
This review provides an expert resource on how to deliver business efficiency through the use of technology.
Why “the power of six”?
The number 6 itself has always had mystical links to the unknown, and in some cases, we would rather it remain unknown; this is a good analogy for IR35. That is because, although most know of IR35, its full impact on organisations and individuals is largely unknown. A lot of organisations and individuals have put their heads firmly in the sand on this issue, perhaps preferring the impacts would remain unknown. Is it any coincidence that the first full individual UK tax year, that IR35 will be enforced, starts on 6th April 2020?
At Avenga, like at most companies, we knew that this was coming, but unlike others, we have used our unique set up and knowledge to come at the problem from a different angle, to use our expertise to help mitigate the worst impacts of IR35.
